Whitney Henry contributed to an article in Cell Death & Disease by Kathrin Böpple titled “ATF3 characterizes aggressive drug-tolerant persister cells in HGSOC”. This study shows that increased ATF3 expression together with partial EMT promote the development of aggressive drug-tolerant persister cells, and thereby relapse in HGSOC patients.
